Red palm oil comes from the fruit of the palm tree (Elaesis guineensis) and is called red oil due to the rich dark red juice it has in its natural state. Color and density may vary at low temperatures. Red palm oil contains a lot of vitamin A and tocotrienols (vitamin E) and is renowned for its high content of natural carotenoids. Our oil is "virgin" or raw, the result of pressing palm fruits, without any other ingredients.
